Polzin may not be the tallest middle blocker, but she more than makes up for it with her speed, instincts, and athleticism. She reads the game well, moves quickly laterally, and does a great job closing the block. Offensively, her vertical allows her to play bigger than her height, as she gets up quickly, gets on top of the ball, and finds ways to attack around the block. Polzin combines quickness with a strong feel for the game, making her a consistent threat to terminate when given the opportunity.

What I appreciate is her willingness to do the work that comes with the position. Middles are constantly moving and adjusting, and Aubrey continues to embrace those responsibilities.
