She brings a dynamic presence to the court with her quick attack, high volleyball IQ, and ability to score in a variety of ways. What really stands out is how intentional she is with her ball placement — she doesn’t just swing hard, she swings smart.

She’s also a major factor at the net defensively. Makenna consistently puts up a strong block, and her press form is fundamentally sound and picture perfect. Add in her ability to capitalize on overpasses and transition quickly into offense, and it’s easy to see why she continues to impress us every time we watch her play.

There’s so much potential in her game already, and we truly believe her career at Casteel is going to be something special. We’re excited to watch her continue to develop and see where this journey takes her.
