Patel played for the TAV 16 Black Josh team that earned a bid to Nationals after finishing seventh with a campaign of five wins and three losses. A true six-rotation outside hitter, she was one of the pillars of the team, providing great stability with her well-rounded and error-free game. Patel had a big role in serve-receive, covering a large portion of the court and using her tremendous ball control to deliver accurate passes and keep the team in system. When at the net, she stood out for getting off the floor very well and demonstrating great vision and impressive variation with her swings – she’d consistently find ways around the block or tool it to score points at a good clip.
