showed exactly why she is ranked as the 41st middle blocker in the Prep Dig Texas Class of 2028 state rankings with a confident and assertive performance at the net. What stood out most was her complete lack of hesitation when matched up against taller opponents, as she consistently trusted her speed and instincts to win those battles. Buljan’s game is built on quickness, and her ability to beat blockers to the spot allows her to create advantageous attacking angles. By running true zero-tempo quick sets, she attacks in the seams of the block with aggression and purpose, putting defenders under immediate pressure. Her fast arm swing adds another layer of difficulty, often ending rallies before the defense has time to establish position. Offensively, that aggressiveness makes her a threat against any matchup she faces. On the defensive side, her high-octane motor separates her from others at the position, as she pursues every block and transition with urgency. If Buljan continues to play with this level of confidence and pace, she will be a major asset for her team and a player who consistently tilts momentum in their favor.

Blake is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because I have not released them yet. She plays volleyball at Oakridge High School and plays club for the Dallas Skyline volleyball program. She is known as “Big Block” for a very good reason. This young lady is a dynamic middle who can do a lot of things offensively and defensively. What stands out when I watch her play is how high of a motor she possesses and how crisp her footwork is during lateral blocking movement and during transition off of the net. The sheer fact that she understands the principles behind hard cutting angles around both sides of the block and can apply them with power at this young age bodes well for her future in the position. She is super fast off of the ground as she drives hard toward her setter for the quick attack and will only get better as time goes on. We are very high on her potential and strongly encourage college coaches to give her some looks. We will continue to cover her game this season and for the foreseeable future.
