Addi Allaman Addi Allaman DS IA has been such a fun player to watch over the years. She is one of those players who truly changes a program for the better. Not only has she grown exceptionally as a player, but she has also become an amazing leader for the Spartans. She is a libero who will put her body on the line time and time again to keep her team alive. She is going to give it her all up until the very last point and I am excited to watch her go out with a bang.

Addison Alleman is another Spartan who has shown what it truly means to be a leader. Like I said before, being a standout goes far beyond your skill set, and Alleman is a prime example. This kid has to be one of the most selfless volleyball players in the state. There has never been a time when I’ve seen this kid put herself above her team. She is always the first to pick up a teammate when they’re down. She will always be the loudest one on the court and will always find ways to guide her team.

Allaman contributed as a DS during Pleasant Valley’s march to a state championship in 2024, her sophomore year. She stepped into the libero role last season, when the Spartans made it back to state. This summer, she helped United claim its second regional championship in a row. Her teams win. That’s not a coincidence. Allaman has just steadily improved. She’s technically sound in the back row with a good understanding of her assignments. Lateral quickness and fast reactions aid her success. Allaman flows well with the action and settles into position off the block. She’s consistently good in serve-receive.
