Yep. That tracks. When I start my write up blocks I have to search for the player, and select them if they are in the system, so most times I don’t know their ranking until I pull it up to write. Addison was an absolute monster for Metro, and seeing her as the no. 1 prospect in the state, makes perfect sense. She’s committed to Ole Miss, which I figured out mid game when watching them. She’s just one of the most pure athletes I’ve seen. Strong, physical, smart, fast…she’s a problem if you have to play her.

Harris (pictured) comes through time and time again when 17 Elite Black needs a big kill. Harris controlled things from the beginning helping 17 Elite Black win the 17 Liberty Division in the Mideast Qualifier in Indianapolis. Harris leaps high and smacks ball all over the court. She has even developed a solid back row attack. Defensive specialists may lean one way, but Harris ends up going another direction. Harris is also a sound passer. Harris had 248 kills and 140 digs in the fall, helping Arlington go 32-10 and a fourth-place finish in the Division I-AAA State Tournament.

Harris is relentless on the court. Harris gets on top of balls and pounds them to the ground. It helps that her setter is the same one on both the club and high school teams. Harris smacks balls hard from all six spots on the court. Harris reads floors well and makes sound in-air adjustments. She smacks balls off blocks and out of bounds and mixes in tips. Harris said it was good to see the team come together this weekend because one person can’t do it all in volleyball.
