Nuhic (pictured) just got invited to play on the Bosnian U20 National Team. She uses her size to set balls at tough angles, allowing hitters to get up and pound balls down. She does a great job sending sets back toward the net when out of system. Nuhic involves a number of hitters, consistently putting balls in power zones so they can terminate them with authority. Nuhic executes a variety of sets including back sets. Her sound decision making on where to set balls also can’t be overlooked. She’s also a hustler on defense.

Nuhic is blessed with size and great athleticism, thus the 17 Elite Black staff tries to put her in great position to run the offense. Nuhic makes the most of balls on each play. She consistently puts the team loaded with powerful hitters in sound position to succeed. Nuhic also makes great reads. Nuhic goes hard after balls on defense and has solid double blocks. Her versatility also shows with her powerful serves. Nuhic had 412 assists and 85 digs in the fall, helping Arlington go 32-10 with district and region championships then a fourth-place finish in the Division I-AAA State Tournament.

Nuhic executes the offense with precision for the 17 Elite Black. Nuhic’s communication with her teammates is evident on each play. Nuhic can adjust well to first touches even when the team is out of system. She is coachable and puts balls in her hitters’ power zones. Nuhic backs up the net well and records sound first touches. She is a hustler on the court and forms nice walls on double blocks at the net. Nuhic also sends across tough line drive serves. Nuhic said her coaches have talked to her about the importance of leadership at the setter spot and she’s taken on the role with authority.
