About Aliyana

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Playmaker! Lefty Setter always looking to maximize hitter opportunities and be a strong presence at the net. Focused on consistent setting technique and footwork with controlled sets to hitters. Rightside hitter who loves line attacks and stuff blocks!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to not only have myself grow but have others also grow around me. I love to see my teammates shine! I would describe my personality as funny, caring, supportive and love to uplift others.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer building ramps for wheelchair access with my family and love doing community service hours to serve in God's purpose. National Junior Honor Society Illumine Chapter member (NJHS) Honor Roll Student and enrolled in Honors classes

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've learned as a setter I must make communication priority for my team to be successful and lead my offense. I love doing simply things like hi-fiving my teammates and celebrating them always with encouragement. I am a person who always puts my team first; I can encourage and challenge them equally. I walk in my faith as a Christian-athlete and enjoy honoring God in everything I do.

Miss Serbones is currently an unranked prospect in the 2030 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet.  She plays for Cornerstone Christian School and also plays for the Alamo volleyball club.  After watching her for the second time this year, we are certain that she will for sure be a star to watch for the foreseeable future.  It seems as if she has grown a few inches since we last saw her this past summer and that is scary for her opponents.  This young lady is a very talented volleyball player who can set, hit and block at a very high level.  We really enjoyed her personality on and off the court as well.  She is truly the life of the party and that equates to being a great teammate.  If you do not know her name yet, please write her name down as a player to watch.  She will be making a name for herself this coming club season.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at this showcase.
