Dawson was part of the Alamo 17 Premier side that ended up in 19th place with three wins and five losses. A tall and athletic player, she was a force offensively for them at the net. Dawson made the most of her high contact point and also demonstrated excellent vision to pick the right shots to put the ball down, finding nice angles and using tips at the right moments, both from the left and the right.
