Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
It’s hard to pass on this Minden star, who has been part of Nebraska’s most successful small-town crew on the club circuit. Cederburg is a past Prep Dig Showcase standout who has locked down the net with her outstanding middle defense. She also enjoyed a big uptick in production in Year 2 with Minden, producing over 200 kills as a go-to middle blocker. However, Cederburg has also shifted over to the right side for South Central NE 16 Black, giving the team some enviable length at the tape. A Show Me championship elevated Cederburg’s stock, and another run through the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament took that a step further.

South Central NE 16 Black’s firepower is not limited to the pin positions. Cederburg has upgraded her termination from the middle blocker spot, as evidenced by her 200-plus kills in Year 2 with Minden High School. Whenever 16 Black gets an in-system opportunity, Cederburg is a frequent target for up-tempo sets. She gets on top of the ball quickly and frequently reaps the advantages of one-on-one matchups. Those contributions will be key to South Central NE’s foray at the Open level.

Cederburg has been on our radar for a while, particularly after her fruitful performance at one of our Prep Dig Showcase events. She is now representing Minden, a two-time defending state champion that’s showing no signs of yielding in 2025. The Whippets are 16-5 this year, with Cederburg providing 0.8 blocks per set out of the middle. Her positive momentum dates back to her club tenure with South Central NE 15 Black, which ascended to the GJNC podium this summer. Another postseason push could be on the way with Minden.

Cederburg was an early entry on our 2028 watch list after her showcase dominance on the Prep Dig Circuit. The Minden sophomore took those skills to the club side and was an all-around force for 15 Black. Minden’s recent history of standout middle blockers provides even more optimism for Cederburg’s upcoming prep campaign. The goal is simple: back-to-back-to-back titles for the Whippets.

Minden has churned out some transformative frontcourt talent lately, and Cederburg may be the next in line. Her South Central NE 15 Black squad took Kansas City by storm and replicated the bid-earning triumph of its 17 Black counterparts. We have fond memories of Cederburg wielding her physicality and power on the Prep Dig Circuit last year. Her momentum has not slowed on the club side, and she’s ready to bring her small-town crew to one of the nation’s most prominent stages.

Minden High School has a bright future with its high-impact group of underclassmen. Cederburg saw some action as a freshman and took part in Minden’s 2024 title triumph to give the Whippets two in a row. This middle blocker’s influence is sure to expand after the Whippets graduate two outstanding seniors at the position. Cederburg’s high contact point and transition attacking prowess were clear at our freshman showcase, and we’re building a larger list of small-town stars for our watch list.

Cederburg made the trek from Minden to join our showcase, and she took full advantage of the trip. She is one of many South Central NE athletes fresh off a successful journey to Las Vegas for GJNC. Cederburg’s momentum continues after she patrolled the net at our showcase and was a lethal in-system scoring option. Her next stop is Minden High School, the defending Class C1 champs. Early opportunities abound for Cederburg at one of central Nebraska’s best volleyball programs.
