Marechal was with the Awty team that completed its schedule with three wins and two losses. She was the focal point of their playing system and appeared well on both sides of the ball, while also producing with remarkable consistency. A lefty, the junior was at her best offensively when hitting a quick, shortened set at the pin, but also did well in out-of-system plays, showing excellent vision to find open spots on the court. Marechal also had a prominent role in serve-receive and was accurate with her deliveries for most of the time. She made an impact from the service line, too, firing an accurate and powerful top spin jump serve that consistently got opponents out of system.

Marechal and her HJV 15 National team got two wins and a loss in Pool 1 and then went down in the Championship Game. An unorthodox left-handed outside hitter, she was excellent offensively for HJV. Marechal not only scored at a good rate when set on the left, the right and in combination plays in the middle, but also stood out with her high contact point and her ability to hit the ball with power and precision in different directions. She also served well, sending the ball across the net with great precision and pressure, and was very stable in serve-receive.
