July’s Freshman Showcase introduced us to several up-and-coming 2029s, and some of those players are wasting no time extending that introduction to the prep scene. Blomenkamp has leaped into Millard North’s starting lineup after this summer’s GJNC podium run with Premier Nebraska 14 Gold. Blomenkamp was an immediate star at our showcase by bringing a rare combination of length and finesse to the setter spot. This has allowed Blomenkamp to carve out a dual setter-hitter role with the Mustangs, filling the stat sheet in almost any statistical category. Millard North can rally around the production for years to come.
