About Aniston

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I started playing volleyball at 10yo and worked to play up for my age and it gained me ample amounts of experience and skills. I am calm on the court and lead my team with quick reactions and smart plays. I am a force at the serving line racking up multiple aces each match and know how to run a 5-1 or 6-2 to always be an asset to my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am calm but energized while playing volleyball. I am organized and diciplined when not on the court. I am a hard worker in school and sports. My team is my family and we work hard for each other while having fun on and off the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was Captain for my Club volleyball team and it taught me leadership, teamwork, and the ability to communicate with different personalities to work for a common goal. We are a strong team and with that comes strong opinions and I learned how to recognize the frustrations and work through them.

The Freeman offense is humming, and we have to give some credit to Bartunek for running the show. We saw this sophomore setter compete at the Open level with Nebraska ONE 15 Titanium this spring, so Bartunek was battle-tested heading into this fall campaign. That positive momentum led to back-to-back tournament appearances for Freeman. However, the Falcons are going deeper than last year after Bartunek accumulated 48 assists in Thursday’s win over defending runner-up Thayer Central.
