Blankenship has great speed and placement on her swings. She can smack balls to the corners and if defenders are playing back, Blankenship can tip it over blockers to the shallow front court. Blankenship is working on her back row hits and improving her wrist snap. Blankenship said the key to sound blocking is noting where the hitters are positioned and watching where the sets go.
