Asa Perry is a rare athlete. If you didn’t know her, you would think that she was one of the college players helping with the camp.

Perry displayed the type of complete game that translates well to the college level. Whether participating in skill work or six on six competition, she consistently finds way to impact play and make herself noticeable.

Asa has the ability play multiple spots on the floor. She controls the game as a setter with soft hands and pinpoint accuracy, she can swing from both pin positions with a full array of shots, and her serve receive and digging are top notch. Size wise, she may be a bit of a tweener standing at 5’8″ to 5’9″, she makes up for it with tremendous leaping ability and very strong mental game. Her volleyball IQ is off the charts.

Perry is a pretty all around dynamic player. She does a great job at setting fast tempo sets to the pins. She also has a pretty good connection with her middles. She does well at reversing the flow of th net. Perry is also pretty lethal swinging out of the front row. She is definitely a player that should be on your watchlist.

Perry along with Olivia Ambeau Olivia Ambeau 6'0" | S/RS Cabot | 2028 State AR is a very dangerous duo of setters on one team. Perry has the ability to push the ball to the pins on not so great passes. She can also be seen swinging on the right side and scores many of points from her hard driven attacks. Perry is also very scrappy out of the back row picking up the hard driven attacks and digging up shots from the opposing attackers.

A strong setter and defensive specialist, Perry’s hands are fast and clean, and she makes excellent decisions under pressure. Her energy is contagious, and her ability to command the floor as a vocal leader sets her apart. It is easy to thoroughly enjoy Perry’s talent. She delivers sets and keeps the game going with ease. Asa is fun to watch.
