About Aubrey
Expert Analysis
Bob Abels | Prep Dig Scout
Aubrey primarily played middle for Madison. She carried the highest hitting percentage on the team while also finishing third in blocks. Aubrey only got started playing volleyball competitively as a frosh in high school. She certainly has some educational interests such as working as an intern at NASA and looking to major in STEM research.
Her height may have gotten her on the frosh volleyball team but her skill has kept her playing for VAVA. She hits the quick tempo sets in the middle well while also moving quickly to the pins. She made my ten under the radar prospects playing at the East Coast championships last year. Four of those players have now committed.
Virginia Volleyball Academy does not have an 18 team. Unclear where she will play this year. Based on her educational interests she may have already chosen a college for her education.

Aubrey is one of a trio of 6 foot or greater front row players the Warhawks can line up in the front row, putting two in the middle and one for the right side. Aubrey generally plays middle. That makes them tough to beat.
While she ranks fifth on the team in kills her hitting percentage of .324 ranks the best on the team. She connects with her setter well on the quick sets in the middle and appears to show good vision of the court.
She ranks third on the team in blocks and her 13 service aces puts her fourth on the team. Her ten digs shows she can play a little defense in the back row after serving the ball.
A strong middle who can also play right side.

Before the start of the high school season the two middle blockers appeared to be Riley Lynch and Camille Pomeroy. When the season started Aubrey seemed to see much of the playing time at middle. When you are 6’0″ with her athletic abilities you can see why she played. Another player who did not get serious about playing volleyball until her frosh season in high school. Still a lot of upside in her game. Aubrey ranks at number 43 in our class of 2025.
