Chloe jumped from 42-38. It seemed she succumbed to that back row offensive 3 rotation player for Virginia Juniors, as well as James Madison. This past season the Warhawks used her on the right side and because they set a 5/1 continued to use her in the back row. She finished second on the team in kills, even second in blocks despite her 5’9″ height. Madison reached the semi-finals of the playoffs until they lost to Colgan. Chloe earned a spot on the second team All state for Class 6.
This year Chloe will play for Virginia Elite. Her ability to create offense on the right side proved critical in them earning a Freedom bid for Junior Nationals.

Early in her career, when she played for Virginia Juniors and even Madison high school they used her in the back row as an attacker. On occasion she would hit from the right side, however the pins were filled with players greater than 6’0″.
This past season Madison found they could use her on the right side to create a more consistent offense than a taller player could deliver. For Madison she actually finished second on her team in kills and despite her 5’9″ height second in blocks.
This year she will bring her 9’6″ approach jump to Virginia Elite to continue to create offense from the right side. Ever since I have seen her play she seems focused on hitting from the right side. For Virginia Elite she may get some opportunities on the left.
Because she hits the ball so hard from the back row while also playing a steady defense you want her there as a six rotation player. If she plays right side running a 6/2 you lose her back row play. It would be ideal to establish an offense that accentuates her strength.

Chloe may only stand 5’9″ but after you see her hit you wouldn’t think so. Because of that height she has been relegated to back row play where she is often fed sets. For Madison, they have recognized that she is perhaps one of their best hitters from the right side. Why waste a player in the back row when she can give you so much more in the front row.
In a big game against the undefeated South Lakes Chloe came up big with 16 kills in their four set win. She had more swings than

Chloe shows a lot of versatility, with the ability to play right side as well as generate offense with her attacks from the back row. She is second to Laila in kills and despite her height second to Olivia Schulz Olivia Schulz 5'10" | MB James Madison | 2026 State VA in blocks. She hits at a .233 clip.
