Riley played mostly right side for her high school team, getting them to the semi-finals of the Class 6 Virginia state championship. She finished second on the team in kills and blocks.
Riley brings an approach jump that touches 10 feet. While she ranks at number seven for the middle blockers in the class of 2025 she now sits as the highest ranked middle that has yet to commit. She plays for Paramount , which will compete in the 18U National Championships in Louisville Kentucky this weekend. They will also play in the National Division at the USAV Junior Nationals in Utah.
Good height. Good jump. Runs the middle well.

Riley has the versatility to play middle or right side. She finished second on the team in kills and second in blocks. For Madison she played mostly right side. She ranks as the third highest player in the class of 2025 yet to commit. All the middles and right sides ranked above her have committed.
In previous years Riley played for Virginia Jrs. This year she will play for Paramount , the fifth player from that club on my uncommitted watch list. She can hit the quick tempo sets as well as the higher sets. Paramount lists her as a middle/right side. Her 6’2″ height ranks her as the tallest on the team.
Paramount will be playing at the Windy City, Ohio Valley, Southeast, Northeast and Mideast Qualifiers. They will also play in the Under Armor national event in Louisville and the Triple Crown.

(below) were the primary middle blockers for Virginia Juniors last year. They finished in 35th place in the Freedom Division at Junior Nationals.
Madison is expected to be one of the few high schools that have a chance to win the state championship. If they hope to do so Riley will play a critical role.

Riley brings some versatility to her game with the ability to play both right side and middle. At the start of the season when Madison tried to rotate three middles for two spots that left one offensive player on the bench. When they moved Riley to the right side the team went on a winning streak. Not only did the offense improve but the defense benefited from the improved blocking. For Virginia Juniors she mainly blocks middle. She runs the quicks well on offense, hitting the ball from a variety of locations. Riley ranks 21 in our class of 2025.
