Cordes broke out as a freshman last season on a youthful Wolves’ team that reached the state championship match. She continued that high-level of play operating on the top club team for her age group in Iowa. In both cases, her versatility proved ultra valuable to success. Cordes is doing the same thing accommodating the roster for Northwest this season. With everybody returning from last season, she’s helped out in the middle. Cordes mostly lined up on the right side in club. No matter where she is, she produces. College coaches see it. The flexibility makes her more attractive on the next level, where roster sizes have been reduced.
