Beloit has no shortage of athletes who can stack the dig column in the box score. Loomis is one of those stat-stuffing contributors for the Trojans, but her excellence goes beyond the score sheet. She has the unique responsibility of patrolling the middle-back area in the libero jersey, allowing Beloit’s “floor general” to go to work. Much of Loomis’ productivity can be traced to her knack for reading opposing attackers and knowing when to crash in on a tip shot. Off-speed swings have often led to transition opportunities for Beloit.

You have to admire a kid whose first highlight you see is of her laying out for a dig and going top over bottom to nail her landing. Loomis is an agile defender who looks like she could pull off a”kip-up” in a WWE Ring. She saw limited varsity playing time last season for the Trojans, but did record 12 digs in 30 sets played. Beloit is a well-coached team that continues to produce college-level players, making Loomis a player to keep tabs on. She is ranked No. 29 overall.
