Let’s wrap up with one of those high school game-changers we were able to revisit from 2025. Kriewald was a key cog in Central Valley’s run to the state tournament last fall, extending a successful multi-year stint for the Cougar program. The sophomore pin hitter put down nearly two kills per set while maintaining one of the team’s best attacking efficiencies. And, like most rural gems, Kriewald is a multi-sport athlete whose competitive drive shines far beyond the volleyball court. We couldn’t miss this one.
