Brooke Charlotte Salo Brooke Charlotte Salo 5'11" | OH Marymount | 2027 State CA , now a Williams commit, brings the same package every time I watch her play. Brooke Salo is great in serve receive, fast on offense, and always finds a way to get it done. She makes a difference on the court.

In September, I wrote that she finds a way around the block and swings with real follow through, and that her serve found the ace with regularity. Against Sierra Canyon, she showed all of it again. She was an ace server, and at the net she snapped her swing and found holes in the block. When the same strengths show up a month later, it is a habit and not a hot night. Marymount heads to Mira Costa on Tuesday.

Brooke Salo finds a way around the block and hits with real follow through, generating power even when the angle isn’t there for her. Her serve found the ace with regularity, and every contact carried a fierce snap behind it. When plays broke down and the ball came at her out of system, she handled it without blinking. As an uncommitted senior, she’s putting together the kind of game that shouldn’t stay unclaimed much longer.

With Makenna Barnes Makenna Barnes 6'3" | OH Marymount | 2027 State #51 Nation CA handling libero duties, Salo was one of the big hitters for Marymount throughout the tournament. Salo also excelled at playing in all six rotations, as her passes were well-placed. In addition, her serving made it tough on opposing teams to run their offense smoothly, as she checked off a majority of the boxes throughout the tournament. The senior leadership from Salo is what will help the Sailors have another deep postseason run
