She’s a setter by trade, and a good one at that. Larsen shows touch and accuracy in setting up teammates. She defends at the net and back row, and can swing from anywhere on the court.

South Dakota State recently nabbed a commitment from Larsen, who could be a collegiate standout at two positions. Larsen climbed the ladder at Premier Nebraska this year to bring her setter-opposite duality to 17 Gold. She led this group as a frontcourt attacker and a fearless setter who generated a ton of flashy plays. We’ve even seen Larsen thrive as a primary passer at our showcases, so any spot in the lineup works for this versatile athlete. Wearing multiple hats is just part of the job for Larsen.

Seeing Brooke Larsen Brooke Larsen Brooke Larsen 5'11" | S Lewis Central | 2025 State IA live at the state tournament last fall was something special.  Her performance in a five set thriller when Lewis Central defeated Cedar Rapids Xavier was something special where she willed her team to victory.  Larsen plays club for Premier Nebraska 17 Gold and gave her verbal to play at South Dakota State.  She will bring a competitive grit to the Jackrabbits where she has been a standout in multiple sports at Lewis Central.  The Titans graduated some big pieces from their 2023 state tournament team, but Larsen as well as Maddie Roenfeld Maddie Roenfeld Maddie Roenfeld 6'0" | MB Lewis Central | 2025 State IA will look to lead them back to Coralville.
