About Camila

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is scrappy and aggressive. As a pin, I like to swing smart but hard, I'm always looking for the block or the deep corners. I’m not afraid to go for risky shots if I see the opportunity. And as a DS, I’m fast on my feet and love reading hitters early so I can get under the ball. Overall, I’m really competitive and just try to bring high energy and consistency in front or back row.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m super competitive but also really supportive. I’ll always give 100%, but I’m also the type pf teammate to hype up my teammates no matter what. I try to stay positive and focused, even when things aren’t going our way. Whether I’m on the court or on the bench, I just want to bring energy and be someone my team can count on.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of volleyball I’m involved in Relay for Life at school, which is a cancer fundraising club that I’m really proud about. It always feels good to make a difference and help others. I’m also in choir for my school, which is totally different from sports, but I love both. Balancing everything can be a lot sometimes, but I’ve also received an academic award like honor roll which i'm so proud of
