Kollars’ inclusion in the 2027 stock-riser crew is overdue. She has been an unsung hero for Club Legacy 17 Alpha, especially with the lineup featuring so many effective attackers. Kollars had several breakout moments in Year 3 with Omaha Skutt Catholic, but she took another massive leap forward with 17 Alpha. She teed off in front of the setter and wielded the explosive two-footed takeoff that has made her a can’t-miss middle blocker. Kollars’ ascent persisted through the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament, which eventually secured 17 Alpha’s spot in the GJNC field.

Kollars is the perfect example of a long, fluid presence who can make her impact in the middle or on the right. We’ve grown accustomed to Club Legacy 17 Alpha taking over matches through their show-stopping physicality, and Kollars is an indispensable part of that equation. She made considerable gains as a starter with Omaha Skutt Catholic, one of Nebraska’s most recognizable high school juggernauts. Kollars has cemented a similar niche with Club Legacy.

Kollars is part of a stacked group of Omaha Skutt Catholic middle blockers who rotated in this fall. She was a featured part of the SkyHawk net presence in Lincoln and helped in four of the team’s six blocks against Columbus Lakeview. Skutt Catholic also relied on Kollars to terminate behind the setter in two-hitter rotations. Her experience with attacking on the right pin may have helped in this regard, and Kollars should be a senior anchor on next year’s squad.
