Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
Lamotte-Protic adds to a long list of Nebraska Elite 2028s who have demonstrated exceptional development over the past several months. This versatile pin hitter was an early addition to our recruiting radar after making big gains on the Prep Dig Circuit. That ascent has continued on the club side, where Lamotte-Protic has stepped up for Nebraska Elite’s top 16s roster. She was particularly terminal at the ASICS Presidents’ Day Classic and delivered consistent cross-court heat in Omaha. Expect more of the same as her 16 Alpha squad pivots to KC’s Show Me Qualifier.

Nebraska Elite brought the full armada to last month’s ASICS Presidents’ Day Classic, so we have a lot of updated film to sift through. Lamotte-Protic is an early standout from these regional reps and has expanded her role with the 16 Alpha lineup. She’s an all-around mainstay who isn’t afraid to handle the first and third contacts in sideout situations.

The Omaha Skutt Catholic freshman contributed to every phase, whether terminating in the frontcourt or delivering pinpoint passes to her setter. This is the kind of athlete who excels in a showcase environment, which tests players in every skill imaginable.

Lamotte-Protic first entered the spotlight by competing in one of last year’s Prep Dig Circuit events. This Skutt Catholic freshman is an ideal fit for the L2 position, as she can employ every skill imaginable in all six rotations. Lamotte-Protic is stout in serve-receive and can go pass-to-attack in her front-row rotations. 15 Prime also likes to bring this outside hitter into the middle for a ‘2’ ball, allowing Lamotte-Protic to vary her shots against an unbalanced block. NLQ was a step forward for many of Nebraska Elite’s future all-around stars.
