About Allison

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my play as quick, and intense. I love the defensive aspect of the game. My serve receive has been significantly improved over the past few years with experience against some of the best athletes in the country.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a passionate player, and every point matters. I like to have fun during the game, and the only way to do that is give it everything.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honors student Student ambassador

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been a captain and leader for the past two years. I am positive on the court while giving direction. I support my teammates during tough times, and celebrate the good moments.

MacPherson (*pictured) has the qualities as a defender that can be a big spark plug for her team. At 5’7, she has solid tools to cover a lot of space without fear of what the pursuit of the ball might require. She can lay out with good extension, turn and run while in control of her angles, or simply sit in the pocket and absorb the pace on the ball with effective results for her setter. She should once again have big moments for her Tri-State Elite team over the coming months.
