Danica Brinkman Danica Brinkman 5'3" | DS/L/S Janesville | 2028 IA displayed her ability to read the offense and convert defensive opportunities into long rallies throughout the showcase. She was always reading hitters, adjusting her position, and trying to affect scoring attempts. Brinkman played every defensive rep, using her skill set to cover space behind the block and make plays outside of her immediate area. She was able to create more chances for her team to move forward and score by playing well defensively and making plays on the ball. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Add another standout performance to Brinkman’s Prep Dig Circuit resume. She commanded the back row for her Fearless 18U squad during our Midwest National Tune Up, but Sunday’s venue had a different look. Even with unfamiliar passers alongside her, Brinkman occupied space effectively and was eager to cover seams. Serve-pass drills cemented her top-performer status.

We’re revisiting one of our big discoveries from this spring’s Midwest National Tune-Up. Fearless Volleyball brought a fascinating 18U lineup into the fray, and Brinkman repped the Class of 2028 well. She donned the contrasting jersey throughout the event and was an invaluable vocal leader in the Fearless huddle. It might be a lot to ask of an athlete playing up a couple of age groups, but Brinkman is built for the big stage. She’ll see another one this weekend.
