Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am THE go to hitter for my setter. Strong and fearless at the net but smart court sense to know when and where to place the ball. My serves always target to take a player out or hit seams. My defense is solid! I take ownership on the court rallying my team and keeping the intensity level high. As a captain I’m also the go to player for my coaches when they need a pressure player to perform.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I play my best in high pressure situations and I give that energy and confidence on the court to inspire my teammates! As a well rounded athlete I think my fun and outgoing personality shines on and off the court. Mentally I’m able to lock it in when it’s needed most and I strive to gain in the sport everyday.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve been a team captain for the past 5 years on multiple teams including volleyball and soccer. Leadership to me is my strength - it’s having the confidence on and off the court and being the go to players for my coaches and my team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Learning to play through pain has been a significant challenge for me but like all athletes it’s what makes you stronger in the end.

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to play volleyball at a D1 level and play at the University of Hawaii - my family is from Maui and playing back where my Ohana is would be a dream for me. I’d like to go into school for nursing or physical therapy.
