Kerry (#116), was an immediate standout. Standing at 6’1″, Kerry showed advanced mechanics for her age. Her explosive playstyle and powerful swing were effective down the line time and time again. She unloads on the ball with a great cross-court shot and isn’t just an offensive threat; she also impressed defensively with a nice move across the back line to keep a play alive

That was apparent on Saturday when I found her to be highly efficient and effective when it came to out of system situations. Wisconsin Elite as a club had plenty of athletes who showed they could compete at a high level.

Maia was an unstoppable force on the pin. She can do it all – from defense and serve receive, to offense, and more. Maia was a relentless and gritty athlete on the court who took massive rips on both pins. She has an explosive approach and a very high volleyball IQ. Maia had an impact on every play she was a part of, from her block touches to her speed in transition, to covering her teammates. She was a highly talented pin who will be an athlete to watch in this class.

Maia absolutely blew me away at the WI Freshman Showcase. She played with the poise and power of a senior, delivering big-time plays again and again. Her combination of height, speed, and vertical makes her a dominant force at the net, and she’s able to put balls away with authority nearly every time she swings. Simply put, she’s tough to stop. With DSHA coming off a state championship, I genuinely believe Maia has what it takes to help lead them right back to the state tournament.

Maia is a pin you absolutely need to have an eye on. She is an explosive pin who can consistently earn points. Maia is incredibly powerful and helped her Wisconsin Elite 14 Elite team to a very successful season including a 5th place finish in the Club division of AAU Nationals where she earned All-American honors. Maia will only continue to elevate her game and dominate.

Maia plays for Wisconsin Elite 14 Elite, and she was phenomenal while watching her play. She is an outside hitter who can put the ball down on you. Whether it’s down the line, cross-court or right over you with her great vertical and power, she has all the shots. Kerry is also smart with her play and even uses finesse when needed. She is one to watch.
