About Elizabeth

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a high volleyball IQ, understanding rotations and spatial awareness. I was a setter for for two years before transitioning to Middle Blocker. I am currently in my fifth year as a volleyball player with experience as a six rotation player.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Focused and driven player. Generally well liked by both coaching staff, teammates, and even parents. I've been told that my calm demeanor and attitude adds a special element to the team. I am adaptive and willing to do whatever my team needs to succeed. Recently, I've played all three front row positions, and have even become a serving specialist when not in rotations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

3rd Year Club Player. JV Team as Freshman at Ironwood Ridge High School

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Servant Leadership. I lead by example, and by doing. I follow instruction well, and work hard for every point.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During tryouts for Freshman year, I fractured my left index finger. I worked hard with the team during summer, and was able to earn my spot on the JV in spite of injury. Made an immediate impact upon my return.

What type of college are you looking for?

Academics are my priority. Looking for a school that will not interfere with my studies and career goals, while still competing in the sport that I love.
