Vocal, active and athletic, Emerie would be a nice addition for anyone looking for a second coach on the floor in the form of a setter. Constantly active and encouraging her hitters, Miss Tester leads vocally AND by example—-traits not often seen in setters here in Indiana. Her ability to do everything—-defend, cover, run an offense, serve tough, turn out-of-system into in-system—-is all there, and should be on full display no matter where and whom she plays this spring. Although I’m not sure what tournaments she’s playing this club season (neither her club schedule nor the roster has been released by Academy), I will make time to watch a kid that crushed it at our showcase this past fall.
