About Emmie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style can be described in two words - energy and passion. Defensively, my game is gritty yet precise. On offense, I bring BIG hype, versatility, and communication to the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love volleyball and you will see that in my game. I am the "hype girl" on my teams and strive to compete and win at the highest level possible.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently involved in Students Against Destructive Decisions, Pep Club, Spanish Club, and I am the Vice President of Student Council for the class of 2028. In addition to volleyball, I play high school and club softball, as well as school basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I love being a part of a team. When you play for a team, you are contributing to a cause that is greater than yourself. Being on a team has taught me how to work with others to accomplish goals. Playing sports has improved my work ethic, self-discipline, and time management skills.

What type of college are you looking for?

After high school, I plan to pursue a degree that will allow me to coach volleyball at the collegiate level. I am not set on a specific size or location of college, but I know that it is my passion to play at the highest, most competitive level possible.

Emmie is the Dean of the Saints. Her game screams leader, both emotionally and verbally. She is extremely unselfish and willing to play whatever role her club and prep teams need her to fill. She is currently ranked No. 10 overall by Prep Dig Kansas. She finished her sophomore season with a career-high 235 kills. She has also strung together two straight seasons with 300-plus digs for the Tigers.
