Frontcourt physicality has always been a strength of Club Legacy teams, particularly at the middle blocker spot. This is where Lowndes operated for 15 Alpha. She had already made a splash at DC West, accumulating over a kill per set and adapting well to the pace of Omaha-area competition. This primed Lowndes for further growth at Club Legacy, where she could shift between middle and opposite roles for 15 Alpha. An at-the-buzzer GJNC berth in Salt Lake City led to even more quality time for this imposing front-row weapon.

Douglas County West is not far from the Omaha scene, but there’s a certain small-town mystique in Valley. That allows us to include Lowndes, one of Club Legacy 15 Alpha’s many game-changing frontcourt terminators. Lowndes boasts multi-position experience and can add to 15 Alpha’s firepower in the middle or on the right. DC West leveraged its physical freshman frequently last fall, culminating in over a kill per set and one of the Falcons’ best hitting percentages. Lowndes added to those accolades with a strong outing at last month’s Great Plains Region Bid Tournament.

Our next stop on the club tour brings us to Club Legacy, where more gems are surging in the Class of 2029. Lowndes’ multi-position influence powered Club Legacy 15 Alpha to a bracket appearance at the ASICS Presidents’ Day Classic. She can slot into the middle or the right side, giving 15 Alpha no shortage of options on the lineup card. Last fall’s DC West screw also took advantage of Lowndes physicality to the tune of 1.3 kills per set. Expect another uptick in production for 2026.
