Wesenburg has an electric swing, the Dakine and Emerald Ridge outside has great size at six feet, and uses her strong transition to be available to terminate points. She is a strong defender and has great press as a blocker to round at her game. At her best she is exploding into the set and hitting with a superior pace that defenders cant handle.

Wesenberg is excellent at finding open spots in the back of the court, putting pressure on defenders to make a play, or watch the ball hit in the corner. She has great defensive awareness and plays the ball easily with her hands. Her defense sets her apart from some similar attackers, she is very natural at middle back. Wesenberg is a good passer in serve receive and gets a good read on opposing offenses.

Emerald Ridge relies on Wesenburg and her big vertical to score, she takes huge swings and is not afraid to challenge blockers. The Jaguars have faced an extremely difficult schedule this year, including an appearance in the Nike TOC Southwest. As a hitter, she posted back-to-back match totals of 24 and 32 kills, those are big numbers in the tough 4A South Puget Sound league.
