A six-rotation outside with impeccable ball control and a non-stop motor, Koetje will be a difference maker in her time in the Cascade Conference, she is 5’8″ and has a good vertical that allows her to score around and off the block. Her passing and defense are her calling cards, and every program values that type of strong skill set.

Koetje is athletic and long, and she is comfortable taking a big swing even when she is working with an out-of-system set. Her blocking is sound, and her quick jump helps her win challenges and jousts at the net. In Anaheim Koetje worked hard to turn sets in tough spots into points, rather than taking a swing that may have resulted in an error. Koetje is an aggressive outside who has a heavy arm. She played extremely well at at the state tournament, and posted big kill numbers all season long. She is currently hitting threes for the Lynden hoops team, she is a multi-sport athlete who has great movement and awareness on the volleyball court.
