Expert Analysis
Bob Abels | Prep Dig Scout
We watched her play some queens at the National showcase. She showed good ball control and made a couple nice ups on hard driven balls. She played for a Maryland Juniors team that finished 38th in the Freedom Division. At large events such as this liberos can go unnoticed. At 5’8″ it appears she can hit outside, but she plays defense well and seems quick on the floor. Loved her attitude as she mingled with the other players on the court.

At 5’8″ some would say she is small for an outside. She impressed enough to earn a number 92 ranking. Isard was a new addition to our rankings in May of last year. Her appearance at the Junior Nationals , as well as her registration at the Prep Dig showcase in Las Vegas stand out as good opportunities for exposure.

We show her at 5’9″. The hope is that she sprouts a few more inches. She already hits the ball pretty hard. She led her high school in kills and played all six rotations. As she gains more experience her accuracy rate should improve. Glenelg finished first in their region. They eventually lost to powerhouse Arundel in the semifinals of the class 3 Maryland state championships.
Don’t know if she will be on the roster for Orlando, but she will participate in the USAV Junior Nationals in Las Vegas.
