brings a dual-threat element as a setter/right-side. When setting, she extends the net well and delivers a clean tempo to the pins, while showing confidence running a quick tempo when the pass allows. When rotating to the front row, she becomes an offensive weapon — attacking second contact and putting pressure on the block from the right side. Her ability to shift roles seamlessly gives her team flexibility. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas
Day One Expectation: Expect Audrey to challenge defenses with her versatility — running a balanced offense and taking decisive swings when she’s front row, forcing opponents to account for her in every rotation.

Here’s another chance to highlight Galyen’s wealth of contributions in the Norfolk lineup. She does so much more than distribute the ball to Norfolk’s impressive attacking corps. Galyen is also a stout blocker, a relentless defender, and gives the Panthers a vocal leader at the signal-caller spot. This set of intangibles is rare from an underclassman, but Galyen’s poise has shone no matter where she’s competing.

Here’s another past standout from the Prep Dig Circuit. We recently praised Norfolk High School for its hard-hitting, dominant frontcourt, but we can’t leave out the ball-control distributors on the back end. Galyen’s sophomore campaign has started with about eight assists per set and one of the best blocking ledgers among Nebraska’s underclassman setters. We aren’t surprised to see some physicality from an athlete who has some experience as a right-side attacker. Galyen’s aggressive, risk-taking style is a perfect fit for the Norfolk lineup.

Once again, Premier Nebraska is going two-deep on its 15s teams at GJNC. 15 Black slides into the 15 Freedom division and has several emerging athletes poised for a Dallas breakout. Galyen has made the most of her on-court rotations this spring and has kept 15 Black’s offense flowing in high-pressure situations. She has also exhibited her sharp right-back defense and was a gritty defender at last year’s Prep Dig Freshman Showcase. This versatility will come in handy this summer.

We’re getting a great look at Premier Nebraska’s early depth at the 15s level. Galyen was a prior standout on last year’s Prep Dig Circuit, so we are already acquainted with her game-changing potential. This dynamic setter can adapt to whatever system Premier Nebraska 15 Black deploys, and that could include Galyen getting some attacking reps in the front row. This Norfolk prep athlete will do whatever it takes to aid her upstart squad.

Let’s venture over to GACC’s close neighbor in northeast Nebraska. Galyen earned plenty of starting reps with Norfolk High School and was particularly proficient when setting out of the back row. Even when Galyen was not distributing the offense, her right-back defense boosted the Panthers against some of Nebraska’s best attacking lineups. We’re eager to see how Galyen’s wide-ranging impact translates to Premier Nebraska 15 Black’s 2025 journey.
