Let’s keep rolling with River City Jrs . Swenson is another 16 Navy standout who has displayed her multi-position versatility with the team. She wields a quick arm in the frontcourt but can lock down the middle-back area as a DS if needed. It’s a familiar mold for many of River City Jrs ‘ best athletes.

We could have chosen several different outside attackers from River City Jrs 16 Navy. This squad exhibited impressive balance at the Midwest Power League, but Swenson showed her takeover potential in clutch situations. The Omaha Westside prep athlete connected well with her setters and was not afraid to swing away on any ball. Swenson’s aggressive style will suit 16 Navy well as the team builds on an impressive Sunday showing.

River City Jrs 15 Red was bound to add some names to our 2027 list. Swenson proved her readiness for the watch list during the club season and cemented that spot at the Stock Up Showcase. Her offensive production with 15 Red often double-digit kills in two-set matches. It’s an accomplishment that looked routine to Swenson, who showed a knack for using the opposing block to her advantage. Of course, this Omaha Westside athlete could also fire balls through the seam before the block could ever catch up. That trait was apparent at our showcase and will be a hallmark of Swenson’s game for years to come.
