We can always count on River City Jrs to bring out some defensive talent. Miller has been an exceptional defensive weapon for 17 Navy, and her rise in the rankings has been on our radar for a while. She was a high-impact addition to the Bellevue West backcourt last fall, producing over two digs per set in a wicked Class A slate. Miller carried significant momentum from her previous appearances on the Prep Dig Circuit, leading to more breakthroughs with River City Jrs . Her calm, stable platform has produced all the ball control needed for 17 Navy to maintain its exceptional form during the midseason grind.

Miller was another defensive specialist who surged onto our radar through last month’s showcase. The Omaha Buena Vista athlete exhibited her steady, consistent platform from the beginning of our La Vista event. This year’s club season was also full of highlight moments as Miller donned the contrasting jersey for River City Jrs 15 Red. She patrolled the middle-back area for her squad, allowing Miller to patrol a ton of space along the end line. We’re never done adding Omaha-area athletes to our watch list, and Miller’s emergence illustrates how much more we can do.

Omaha’s talent base keeps expanding. Miller joined us from Omaha Buena Vista and demonstrated her poise along the end line. She was outstanding in the close-quarters defensive drills that made up the first half of the showcase. Miller will be one to watch in the River City Jrs gym, a place loaded with great defensive talent.
