Zbylut has anchored the Banzai VBC 17 Select defense through several high-profile tournament stops, including early April’s Windy City Qualifier. The Bellevue West sophomore was eager to dig heat against older peers and was especially adept at locking down the crosscourt. Last fall’s Class A scene gave us a glimpse at Zbylut’s fearlessness against elite foes, as she tallied a triple-digit dig total as an underclassman. Elite experience is racking up for Zbylut and her Omaha-area peers.

Zbylut adds to the impressive list of Banzai VBC athletes playing up a year and gaining invaluable experience. This Bellevue West sophomore was already on the upswing after compiling triple-digit digs with the Thunderbirds last fall. She brings outstanding floor defense and serve-receive stability to Banzai VBC 17 Select, which slugged through a challenging slate at February’s ASICS Presidents’ Day Classic. High-level reps have yielded big gains for Zbylut and her Banzai VBC peers.
