Hussein was the libero of the Houston Stellar 15 Elite team that ended the event with four victories and one loss. A very technical player, she displayed excellent ball control on the backcourt, performing digs with a high degree of difficulty, having to dive for the ball or to use her reflexes to get a hand on it. Hussein was excellent at reading plays, and on multiple occasions, she made a precise last-second adjustment, sliding from behind on the block to see the ball come right into her lap. The libero also got the job done in serve-receive, passing confidently and efficiently.
