A state champion with Grand Oaks High School, Flessas plays club for Texas Legacy 16 Elite and was selected to our State Rankings Watchlist. I’ve been following her for the last two seasons and her game has developed a lot in the period, especially in terms of reading the game and remaining consistent. She’s very quick on the backcourt and is always ready to pick up a tip or a setter dump. The libero communicates very well with her teammates and is an excellent server, who often gets opponents out of system with her floater.

Flessas’ hard work on the backcourt was of great help to her Texas Legacy 16 Elite that got four wins and one loss to finish third. A very technical and quick libero, she was extremely productive on the backcourt. Flessas was excellent at reading opponents and that helped her get digs in tips and setter dumps at the left back position. The libero was also tremendously consistent and reliable with her passing and was very disciplined at covering her hitters when they went up to swing. Flessas also registered several aces and got opponents out of system with her tough floater.

I got to see Flessas in action with her Texas Legacy 15 Elite team early in the season, during the FAST Warm Up, in December. Her tremendous mobility and reaction speed were very impressive as they allowed her to frequently get to tips and shots that deflected off the block and keep them in play. The libero was also extremely reliable with her passing, covering a lot of ground and getting the job done. I love how she communicates with her teammates, always keeping them engaged in the match and sharing information with them. Flessas also proved to be a very good server, who can often get opponents out of system.
