Centennial was faced with the task of replacing a Division I libero after its run to the 2025 Class 5A state championship match. No problem. Enter Rinehart, who committed to South Dakota this summer before taking over at the position for the Jaguars. Her play when scouting her during the club campaign certainly provided enough evidence that the position at Centennial was in good hands. That clearly was the case when scouting her at the Iowa City High tournament early in the season, when the Jaguars won the event with a 5-0 record. Rinehart is a good athlete that moves quickly and fluidly around the court. She covers a ton of ground in defending the back row. Rinehart reads the serve well and thrives in receiving it. She is adept at getting a dangerous attack started in transition.

A coach’s kid, Rinehart maximizes her talent and limits mistakes. She’s fundamentally sound in patrolling the back row, covering a whole lot of court thanks to keen instincts, preparation, sharp reflexes and lateral quickness. Rinehart contributed all around the court for a Centennial team reaching its first state title match last year. She was locking down on defense and in serve-receive when scouting her with Iowa United this club campaign. Rinehart is currently a “buy-low” prospect for colleges. She still hasn’t completely broken out as a player. That’s coming this fall and will continue into the next club season.

Rinehart is the type of player every coach wants because of her versatility, competitiveness, and overall volleyball IQ. She has the ability to excel as a defensive specialist or libero, but can also play on the outside and deliver aggressive, effective swings when needed. Her understanding of the game allows her to adapt seamlessly to different roles, and she consistently makes smart decisions in pressure situations. Whether anchoring the back row, being solid on serve receive, or contributing offensively, she brings value in every rotation on the court.

Rinehart played on the Iowa Regional champs with 15-1 Premier last year before moving over to United 16 Elite Timmerman for the 2026 club campaign. In between, the sophomore helped Centennial reach the Class 5A title match with 265 digs and 65 kills this past fall. Rinehart was on point playing libero for Timmerman at the 2026 Nike President’s Day Classic in St. Louis. The squad reached the Open Division Gold Bracket championship match with her holding it down in the back row. While she has the versatility to play elsewhere on the court, Rinehart is at her best using her athleticism, lateral quickness and sharp reflexes in producing crisp passes. She reads the ball well in serve-receive and bows up soundly against the opposing attack.
