Karissa has been a top athlete in this class since our very first raking came out, but she is making some late moves. She was insanely impressive at the state tournament. She was also on the Sting 17 Gold national championship team with Sylvie and had a huge impact there as well. This high school season Karissa earned First Team All Conference and Second Team All State honors.

Offensively, Fortune is unstoppable while she recorded 346 kills this season.  She knew that a bulk of the sets will be going to Ella Demetrician Ella Demetrician Ella Demetrician 6'2" | OH Appleton North | 2024 State #40 Nation WI and Fortune and between the two they took almost 2,000 swings. Even know she will get the ball opponents still struggle defending her attack.  She came up behind a large group of talented pins and a covid season so her career totals include 458 kills, 334 digs, and hitting a .285 over 2 years.  These are certainly not indicative to the impact she had on the program.

This Drake commit is efficient on the pin and puts up big numbers consistently for Appleton North. She is a top athlete in this class and proves that every time she steps on the court.
