About Keira

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my self as a strong player. I play the setter position which is a position where you have to take initiative of being a leader on and off the court. I connect well with my hitters and my defense players. I talk to my tee mates thoroughly and make sure that we are on the same page. As well as when I am attacking I connect with the setter and make sure we are on the same page.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I describe my self with a resilient mindset that allows me to bounce back from failures and adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain composure under pressure.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved with national honers society.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned to be a great leader with thinking about my teammates well beings and mentality. I have learned how to be a leader and what being a leader means. I have learned how to communicate with everyone in different ways and how to use communication and leadership on and off the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a strong college that will push me to get to my full potential in volleyball and out side of it. I am also looking for a strong foundation. Within it a good team culture, great coaching staff, and good academic programs. I am also looking at playing time. I also Consider the team's depth and my potential role I would be playing and contributing for the team.

Trask showed her versatility at the Salt Lake Showcase, stepping in to play the right side, middle, and setter position. During the six-on-six session, the freshman from Glacier Peak looked comfortable chasing down the second ball and coming under control to deliver a well-located set. It helped that she has played multiple positions already, she had solid footwork along the net and in transition. Trask’s good hands were on display as she set the second ball accurately out of the right side and middle when things got messy for her team on first contact.
