Kyleigh Post Kyleigh Post 5'6" | S/DS/L Atascocita | 2029 TX , a Class of 2029 setter from Atascocita High School in Humble and MoCo MAVS Volleyball Club, brings something to the position that simply cannot be coached into a player at any level: the natural ability to lead a team through tense moments and make the people around her feel organized and confident when the game gets hard. She communicates constantly and with purpose on the court, functioning as an extension of the coaching staff during live play in a way that most setters do not develop until they have several more years of competition under their belt. Her footwork mechanics and release consistency are both progressing well, and the ability to run tempo and vary the pace of the offense rather than defaulting to predictable patterns tells you a lot about her IQ. What she brings in the cultural and leadership dimension of the setter role is every bit as valuable as the technical skill, because setters who exude composure and command make everyone on the floor around them perform at a higher level.
