Expert Analysis
Mike Bryant | Prep Dig Scout
Locker’s continued development as middle quick attacker is paying dividends for her team as she becomes more reliable through different options. Her approach movement creates a good target for her setters as they just need to get the ball into her sweet spot and she’ll take care of it with good contact. Approaching at her setter, she has good wingspan that, with space, she can rise and swing with good control towards the perimeter of the court. Her ceiling is high and her rate of progress through recent evaluations indicates big promise for her future added impact.

Over 67 sets played this past fall, Locker averaged a team high 3.1 blocks per set for Magnificat. Her offensive tools are growing more efficient to match what she does on the defensive side of the ball. She has good range in how she’s used around her setter as an attacker as she can get up quickly in front while showing good mechanics and timing off one foot overhead to prove her versatility. She’s part of a younger group of prospects for Magnificat that should be key factors for them for the next couple of seasons.

Locker is a 2028 middle with good length for the position. At 6’1, her size and touch point are an asset to her success and the overall impact for her AVC team between the pins this club season. Her potential is big as she continues to develop her offensive range. AVC runs their middles fast in front of the setter and Locker has shown good ability to get up quickly and take a big swing. Between her training with AVC and Ohio power Magnificat, expect Locker to continue to establish herself as a top prospect in this Ohio class.
