Mike Bryant | Prep Dig Scout
White was key to Athlete HQ 16-Encalado’s effort as they battled through the morning on day one. There is some expectation that good things are going to happen each time she swings as she is that dynamic with potential for big power to come from her contact in the air. She displayed that well at times while also making some great shots in control that force along with direction to find space, including dropping the ball deep inside the court behind the opposing defense.

Expect White to climb in the rankings with the next update and she is showing some good gains in her physicality and effectiveness as a primary pin. Each time she is seen she looks more assertive and confident in what she can do as a primary attacker. At 5’9 and with big hops, she has varied tools to play the ball above the net. Her vision combined with her athleticism expands her range and control that can keep the defense on their heels. Competing with Athlete HQ this club season, look for them as the #29 overall seed.

White looks ready to take some next steps for the tradition-rich Blue Streaks. White has great technique following through on spike attempts. It starts with great four-step approaches to the net and developing power from the feet up. White played limited varsity action this past fall behind talented upperclassmen. That should pay dividends these next three years.
