Here’s one from the Nebraska Elite pipeline. McAfee represented Nebraska Elite’s top 14s squad last year and showed impressive finesse at the setter spot in Des Moines. Connecting with unfamiliar hitters in a showcase environment is difficult, but McAfee made it happen and exhibited outstanding maturity in the process. Even when McAfee wasn’t running the show, her vocal leadership offered a boost to her “impromptu” Iowa teammates.
